Last week, Monash Business School’s A/Prof Paul Thambar discussed the Care Together program and his research on co-operatives and mutuals with staff and students at the University of Indonesia.

For the past two and a half years, Care Together has been collaborating with regional, rural and remote communities across Australia to co-design and implement co-operative solutions for sustainable care and support. Paul highlighted the program’s impact and importance.

He also shared Monash’s role, detailing how the MVM Framework is helping Care Together projects understand the co-op and mutual model, define their purpose and create value.

The Monash research team is examining how the MVM Framework is applied and evaluating the projects through the Theory of Change developed for the Care Together program.
