BCCM’s submission welcomed the release of the Productivity Commission’s draft report on reforms to human services and the Commission’s recognition that co-operatives and mutuals could play a key role in meeting the requirement for integrating service provision with local communities and the local work force.

The submission spoke to the draft report’s lack of discussion on the barriers faced by co-operatives and mutuals and urged for greater consideration in the final report.
