The joint BCCM and Common Equity NSW (CENSW) submission demonstrates co-operative housing as a viable alternative to retirement villages that contributes to enhanced resident choice and control leading to better outcomes for residents.

The submission recommends further work to explore opportunities for growing co-operative housing (co-housing) as an alternative to retirement villages and to promote diversity and choice in housing options for older Australians.
