Location: Remote (with travel within the Murrumbidgee Region, NSW)
Work arrangement: Flexible with option for Full or Part time dependent on candidate (or candidates) suitability
Contract value: Negotiable dependent upon experience
 About Us
The Murrumbidgee Aged Care Network Co-operative Ltd is a newly formed member-based co-operative, established to strengthen and support small, regionally based aged care providers across the Murrumbidgee region. Through shared services, advocacy, and collaboration, we are working to ensure that local aged care organisations can thrive and continue delivering high-quality care in their communities.
The Role
We are seeking motivated and strategic people to lead management of the operations and growth of the Aged Care Shared Services Co-operative. This is a pivotal opportunity in shaping the future of the co-op, delivering value for members, and championing the needs of small aged care providers in the region.
We are seeking expressions of interest from people with relevant skills and experience to help us shape this role or roles.
Reporting directly to the Board, key responsibilities will include:
- Oversee and deliver shared services (finance, HR, IT, procurement, workforce development, and governance).
- Drive membership growth and engagement.
- Represent members through advocacy and policy influence.
- Ensure financial sustainability, transparency, and strong governance.
- Build collaborative partnerships across the sector.
This is a hands-on leadership opportunity suited to someone who enjoys working across strategy, operations, and stakeholder engagement. There is provision for a full time equivalent role with a flexible approach to whether this is held by one person or two with complimentary skills and experience.
We are open to receiving creative and practical approaches around how to make this flexible opportunity result in a strong outcome for you and the co-op.
About You
You’re a strategic thinker with strong business and stakeholder management skills, and you’re passionate about supporting regional communities. You will bring:
- Tertiary qualifications in Business, Health Administration, or a related field.
- At least 5 years’ experience in business or organisational management.
- Strong financial and operational acumen.
- Excellent communication, advocacy, and relationship-building skills.
- Experience in member-based, co-operative, or aged care organisations (highly regarded).
