Co-operative Care Wagin (CCW) officially opened today, along with its Tudhoe Street office, marking a major milestone for the Wagin community.
A Care Together project, CCW aims to build a culture of meaningful collaboration where individuals and businesses join forces to keep the Wagin community here and living well in their own homes, by connecting locals to the essential services they need, as they need them.
The event was attended by representatives from the community, Wagin Shire Council, local businesses, and other supporting organisations, along with Juniper and CBH Group, whose financial support helped make the co-op possible.
Members of the board and steering committee have contributed hundreds of volunteer hours to make this community-led initiative a reality.
Care Together’s Nick Hislop and Peter Westoby also attended, underscoring their ongoing support for the project.
