Location: Murrumbidgee Region, NSW

Employment type: Full time with flexibility depending on successful candidate

Salary: $85-$105K Negotiable dependent upon experience (inclusive contract position)

About us

The Murrumbidgee Aged Care Network Co-operative Ltd is a newly formed member-based co-operative, established to strengthen and support small, regionally based aged care providers across the Murrumbidgee region. Through shared services, advocacy, and collaboration, we are working to ensure that local aged care organisations can thrive and continue delivering high-quality care in their communities.

The role

We are seeking a highly motivated and relationship-driven Co-op Business Development Co-ordinator to join our growing network. This is a unique, member-facing role where you will play a central part in strengthening connections across the MACN network and co-designing practical, affordable shared services that deliver real value.

Working closely with the Board and member organisations, you will help identify needs, develop solutions, and support the successful implementation of shared services – all while ensuring members feel supported, informed, and connected. The Co-op Business Development Co-ordinator will:

  • Build strong relationships with members, understand their needs, and ensure their insights inform Board decisions.
  • Co-design shared services with members, define requirements, engage suppliers, and develop business cases to support scalable solutions.
  • Guide members through onboarding and implementation, providing practical support and connecting them with relevant expertise.
  • Manage member communications and prepare clear reports to keep the Board and members informed of progress and outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate records, coordinate meetings and events, and support core administrative and compliance functions.

This is a dynamic and hands-on position that blends relationship management, business development, and co-ordination. You will act as a trusted partner to members, helping them navigate challenges and access shared solutions that improve efficiency and outcomes.

You are a proactive and people-focused professional who thrives on building relationships and turning ideas into action. You bring:

  • Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
  • Experience in business development, project coordination, or a similar role
  • The ability to translate member needs into practical solutions
  • Confidence working with suppliers and developing business cases
  • A collaborative mindset and a passion for supporting community-focused organisations
  • Excellent organisational and administrative skills
