BCCM CEO Melina Morrison will represent Australian care co-operative and mutuals at the International Cooperative Alliance conference in New Delhi, India, 25 – 30 November.

The conference will mark the official launch of the United Nations’ International Year of Cooperatives 2025 and celebrate how co-operatives build prosperity for all.

The conference will feature inspirational speakers and provocative panel debates, and delegates will co-create co-operative visions and strategies during multiple break-out sessions. The conference theme, Cooperatives Build Prosperity for All, celebrates co-operatives as people-centred, purpose-led and progress-driven enterprises.

Melina is participating in a panel discussion on co-operatives in the care economy. Melina will share the success of the Care Together program as well as case studies from Australia care co-operatives.

We look forward to sharing updates from Melina in India later this month.
